Hot yoga studios running on Striking Energy.
Heat your students, not the room.
Infrared warms people and surfaces directly. It uses less energy to do it, and it doesn’t move dust or dry out the air. We’ve put that to work in more than 20 hot yoga studios, and in Virgin Active and Planet Fitness.
Instant heat
No waiting for the room to come up to temperature. You heat the people in the class, so there’s no need to heat the studio before it starts.
No dried-out air
No fumes, no flames, no combustion. Infrared doesn’t strip the moisture from the air the way air-conditioning does.
Even heat on every mat
Heat is focused where your students are. We design the layout so every mat gets the same warmth.
Windows can stay open
Radiant heat isn’t carried away by air movement, so you can ventilate the room and still hold the heat.

Common questions from studio owners
How many heaters will my studio need?
It depends on your floor area and ceiling height. We calculate it for you at no charge. Send us your studio dimensions and we’ll come back with the number and the layout.
Who installs the heaters?
Any qualified electrician. Each heater draws 1.5 kW, and we give your electrician the electrical requirement for your layout.
Can I control the temperature?
Yes. Heaters can be run through wall-mounted dimmers, which lets you regulate the heat for different classes and save electricity in warmer months.
What if something goes wrong later?
Every heater carries a 5-year body warranty and is designed to be repaired, not replaced. We build them in Cape Town, we keep parts in stock, and you deal with the people who made it.
Is this only for new studios?
No. We work with new studios and with studios replacing a system that isn’t keeping up.
